Props allow every person to safely access all postures. We will be focusing on the use of props for the most common poses. This workshop is suitable for both new and experienced yogis who are looking to enhance their yoga practice.
Please bring any props you have, particularly blocks and a strap. Suitable alternatives are books (for blocks) and a robe tie (for strap). These can also be purchased for a low cost at Winners stores. Other props you may find useful are a yoga bolster, or pillows and blankets.
This is an 8-week yoga session for all abilities and ages – no experience required! Options and modifications are offered in each pose to accommodate all participants.
Classes start with with mindful movements through a series of poses designed to build strength, flexibility, and balance, and ends with gentle stillness to relax and reset.
